Find out moreWe’ve had a great year full of training and have been thrilled to welcome so many new Catch Up® Literacy and Catch Up® Numeracy trainees, and to send them off ready to start helping struggling learners in their schools in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland…and beyond!
This year, we have trained nearly 2,000 trainees on 150 courses at 19 Regional Training Centres and over 20 schools. Phew!
If you were one of our trainees, we hope you enjoyed the training and have been making a good start on using the interventions.
A huge end-of-year ‘thank you’ to all trainees, our Catch Up® Accredited Trainers and all of the Catch Up® office staff for making all of this possible, and working so hard to support more struggling learners every year!
Here is just a small selection of some of the lovely feedback we had from our trainees after their courses this year…
“Really enjoyed the training. [The trainer] was thorough and answered any questions that were asked. I feel that I can now deliver Catch Up Literacy with confidence and am looking forward to using the programme within my school.”
“[The trainer] is knowledgeable and with a wealth of education experience you know if she tells you it will work, you know it will!”
“The course was very thorough and informative. It gave me knowledge and confidence to deliver the intervention which I am sure is going to make a huge difference to the children I will be working with. Thank you”
“Fantastic course. Very impressed with [The trainer]. Her enthusiasm for Catch Up Numeracy is definitely ‘catching’. The course has given me the skills, knowledge and confidence to help my pupils achieve their true potential with fun being the essential ingredient!! Many thanks.”
“The training was really thorough. I feel that with some practise and preparation I will be able to effectively deliver the intervention and hopefully really help some of our pupils who are struggling. The support materials in the file are excellent.”
“The course was brilliant. It was well delivered and well covered. One of the best courses I have been on.”
“[The trainer] has given me the confidence to carry out Catch Up maths and I cannot wait to start the programme, I believe this will have a huge impact on some of the children I teach.”
“Excellent step-by-step course explaining all about Catch Up Literacy, its ethos and why it's so successful. [The trainer] was a great coach - training us as well as listening to our little stories/scenarios and answering our questions. Can't wait to try it out on my High School readers!”
Thank you all again and best wishes for a restful holiday!
