Find out moreIn March, we thanked you for the hundreds of responses to our 21st year celebration survey.
We have now looked through all your replies and are delighted to report that there are a number of schools – and trainees – who share the distinction of being the school/trainee who has been delivering Catch Up® for the longest time!
We found that the school that has been using Catch Up® Literacy for the longest time, first received training in 1998! This school has been able to maintain their delivery of Catch Up® Literacy by having further staff trained in the intervening years.
The same is also true for Catch Up® Numeracy, which was launched 10 years later. A number of schools who received training in 2008, are still delivering Catch Up® Numeracy to their learners.
Looking at the trainees themselves, we were so pleased to discover that some of those trained in either 1998 or 2008 are still delivering Catch Up®, having been able to take their delivery skills with them as they moved to other schools.
We would like to thank you all so much for your continuing support for Catch Up®, and your dedication to helping struggling learners. Our mission statement is, ‘Working to address literacy and numeracy difficulties that contribute to underachievement’– but we can’t do that without your help! Thank you.
