Find out moreThere are 2 or 3 places available on the project, on a first-come basis, for secondary schools in England that can meet the timescale to have the two project Teaching Assistants working in the primary schools in early June 2013. Any interested schools should email their contact information to projects@catchup.org.
The project is designed to test and evaluate - within a rigorous and high quality research framework - the impact of the Catch Up® Literacy intervention on underperforming Year 6/Year 7 pupils, when it is delivered by trained teaching assistants, immediately prior to and for two terms after the pupils transfer to secondary school.
