Background: I qualified as a secondary teacher and taught for many years, then retrained as a primary teacher. I have also taught on Initial Teacher Training courses. I am now an independent Literacy Consultant working closely with publishers, producing resources for pupils with literacy difficulties.

Making a difference to the lives of struggling readers and helping Teaching Assistants achieve their potential.

Sharing something that is practical, effective and fun to do.
What would be your Catch Up^® top tip/advice?
Keep a stock of simple jokes in your Catch Up^® file – they’re a great ice breaker. e.g. What’s got a bottom at the top? A leg!
Give one interesting fact about yourself that might surprise people.
I have sung in the Llangollen International Eisteddfod and the Royal Albert Hall (but not a solo!)
