Alan Warner

Personal Biography
After qualifying as a Chartered Secretary and Management Accountant, I worked as a Financial Manager in industry before moving into management education, eventually becoming Director of Studies at Ashridge Business School. I then founded MTP plc, a management training business that became a trusted brand among many of the world’s top multinationals.
In my spare time, I like to write and have had over 20 books published, covering financial and business topics. I also continue a lifetime obsession, faithfully travelling to my original home town to watch my local professional teams play county cricket and league football.

Professional/voluntary biography
Having recently retired from the Chairmanship of MTP, I am now building up a portfolio of trustee level appointments in the charity sector. I am also a trustee and director on the board of North Hertfordshire Citizens Advice.

Why I am a trustee
The opportunity at Catch Up^® matches my desire to work with organisations that make a difference to society. Catch Up^® also has similar issues and challenges to those I have faced in my own business, which increases the potential for me to contribute.
