Catch Up® Data Protection statement
Catch Up® collects and processes information to enable us to carry out specific functions for which we are responsible as a training company. In doing so we manage all data in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018.
Data Controller Registration: ref Z9386030.
There is further information in the
Catch Up® Privacy Statement which can also be accessed through the footer link on every page of the
Catch Up® website.
Catch Up® may change this policy in the future to reflect and adhere to the Data Protection Act 2018 and any other applicable regulatory requirements.
The
Catch Up® Progress Reporting Tool (PRT) has been produced to the industry standard of ISO 27001 which is the International Standard for Information Security Management. This ensures that security controls are in place that comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and that protect information and ensure its confidentiality, integrity and availability are maintained.
To ensure that we meet Data Protection requirements, we ask that all schools who wish to use the
Catch Up® Progress Reporting Tool (PRT) re-nominate/nominate a
Catch Up® Coordinator every autumn. Headteachers will be sent an email asking them to re-nominate/nominate a
Catch Up® Coordinator in their school.
Catch Up® Coordinators who currently have access to the PRT will lose that access, until the Headteacher has re-nominated/nominated a Coordinator.
All individual pupil/student data should be anonymised when entering onto the Progress Reporting tool.
Catch Up® will not use the anonymised data held on the system, the data is only held for schools to use if the re-nominate/nominate process has been completed.
Catch Up® will not share anonymised statistical data with a third party.
The only exception will be if
Catch Up® is legally required to share such information and where legislation allows it to do so, with such sharing being in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
Catch Up® welcomes your comments regarding this Privacy Notice. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 2018. A small fee will be payable. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary to deliver the service.
